1912年日本送給美國三千棵櫻花樹，種在美國首都華盛頓特區（DC）。
可是日本人很厲害地，並沒有送出最美的品種到美國和番，所以DC這兒的櫻花可不是想像中的粉紅嬌豔。不過數大就是美，淺粧粉白的櫻花也別有一番風情。就來個美式賞櫻吧！
